Virat and Tamannah in BIG trouble
Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli and famous Bollywood heroin Tamanna Bhatia seems to be in trouble as they are spotted to promote online gambling. An advocate from Chennai has lodged a plea in Madras High Court to ban online gambling. The plea said that online gambling is illegal and criminal offence in the country and increasing tendency is resulting in suicide cases due to big losses suffered by gamblers.
Youngsters are being hooked to this online gambling addiction by the organizers by providing huge cash bonuses to anyone. Petition also states that it uses the famous cricket and film personalities including cricketer like Virat Kohli and actress Tamannah who persuade these young with their powerful appeal to join this game.
“This gambling habit is more unsafe to the society and violative of Article 21 of the Constitution of India, as it infringes the right to life. Hence this writ petition seeking a ban,” reads the plea.
Youth begin with pocket money, income and then exhaust family savings, later lend money. When the lender goes to their residence and humiliates them, they take the dangerous step. There are many cases like this in recent times and many more such unlucky cases will arise in the coming months when youth are unemployed and idle.
On the professional front, Virat is all set to participate in the upcoming 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Over the last few weeks, after staying at home for three months, Indian cricketers have started practicing in the nets.
On the other hand, Tamannaah Bhatia has quite a lot of exciting projects lined up one of which is the Bollywood film ‘Bole Chudiyan’ co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui that has been helmed by Shamas Nawab Siddiqui. The South Indian diva will then be seen in the sports drama titled Seetimaarr co-starring Gopichand and Digangana Suryavanshi in the lead roles.
